Southern Towers | Our Vision
Across our portfolio, CIM Group is devoted to fostering a thriving, healthy, and inclusive community-minded environment that supports the well-being and prosperity of individuals and families from all backgrounds and walks of life.We have long been a proud member of the Alexandria, VA community as the owner and operator of several properties, including Southern Towers where we took over operations in 2020. For each of our properties, our mission is clear: to align ourselves with the needs and aspirations of the local community.
We have already made a number of visible, positive changes at Southern Towers addressing years of deferred maintenance, including renovation of apartments, corridors, and common areas; resurfacing parking areas and tennis courts; new playgrounds, and much more. Still, our community-minded vision extends beyond just these quality-of-life improvements. Coming soon, we are planning significant upgrades throughout the campus: roof replacements, lobby and amenity spaces and revitalizing the courtyard and pavilion, as well as implementing increased security measures, even if they may not be visible.
At Southern Towers, we prioritize community involvement. We organize farmers markets, job fairs, food drives, and vaccination clinics for our residents. We also engage with them regularly by holding monthly meetings and appreciation events, as well as communicating important dates and information in our weekly and monthly newsletters. Our staff is easily accessible through open office hours and our resident communication portal.
These efforts are demonstrable signs of our commitment to the long-term success of Southern Towers and its residents with whom we have put a strong focus and effort into ongoing engagement. This includes us fully staffing each building with dedicated management, maintenance, and leasing teams.
We invite every one of our residents and the surrounding community to join us in achieving our vision for a vibrant and prosperous future for Southern Towers and the City of Alexandria.
